Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and message. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that conversation and our records.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider may log standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance.
Calculator inputs. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser; we don't store them on our servers.

Third-party services that receive requests from your browser
- Currency converter: when you open the converter, your browser requests exchange rates directly from the Frankfurter API (api.frankfurter.dev), which republishes European Central Bank reference rates. Frankfurter receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request. No calculator inputs are sent.
- Google AdSense (pagead2.googlesyndication.com and related Google domains) loads ads.
- Grok App Builder (grok.com) provides site hosting features.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site, respond to messages, display ads, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information for money. If you want to opt out of personalized ads, use Google Ads Settings at https://adssettings.google.com and turn off personalized advertising. You will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California and other U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Children's privacy
Rateboard is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and security
We keep emails only as long as reasonably needed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the site is served over HTTPS and we limit what we collect.
